Every morning, after reading the avalanche report, we took our split-boards and touring skis, and decided which mountain to climb. For the steepest parts and most exposed slopes, we had to take snow profiles for deciding whether to continue ascending or not (the chamois didn’t care too much about it, though). To learn to read maps according to avalanche reports and to learn to read the profile of the snow for decision making was a very informative and interesting part of the whole thing.

There are those moments in life that are difficult to describe. They are so unlike anything else you’ve experienced that they leave you feeling overwhelmed, emotional and dazed. They are larger than words or pictures can capture and somehow greater than just a physical encounter. These are the important ones.

In the TWOTHIRDS family, we all come from different countries and we all have our own favourite recipes but we all love mug cakes, perfect for warming up after a day on the beach or in the mountains.

It has been very special for me having surfed during my pregnancies. Catching a wave whilst having one of the most important people in my life inside my tummy is one of the most regarding feelings I’ve ever had. I think about the times when I'll be telling my sons when they are older, that the first waves they rode were inside “mummy’s” tummy.

We love our team. And do you know what the beauty of it is? We love sharing our stories, our travel tips, but among everything, we love sharing our favorite eco-friendly restaurants.

The most important thing we can do to create a Green Christmas is to make it one we can enjoy. This means connecting to the meaning of Christmas, whether religious or personal, and creating unique traditions.

One of our biggest challenges is to prevent pollution, avoid unnecessary use of plasticand provide a better future for our lovely planet.

Sad that summer is over and you can not splash around in your favourite element anymore, but also somehow you're looking forward to autumn colours, cosy jumpers, tea and hot chocolates?

At Twothirds, our sentinels are part of our brand. A sentinel is an informal ambassador, creating awareness for the Ocean in a series of subcultures such as art, fashion, surfing, and activism. Representing our leitmotif “We are Ocean”.

Shooting coastal images on film, for me, there is no better medium than dated old film to capture the essence of what makes surfing in Cornwall so special.

You will be impressed by the thick and dark sand of this hidden beach and the crystal clear water. Platja Fonda managed to keep its primitive purity that you can rarely find in any other places of Costa Brava.

We didn't expect such a rich landscape, the different types of rock, colours, shapes, the solid lava, the unique flora, reptiles, etc. It all made it a special place to remember. Again we couldn’t help comparing it with another part of Kauai, the Waimea Canyon, both have such a big topographical and climatological contrast with the rest of the island that make them so remarkable and unique.

Each piece is made with two main components — wood (classic frames or driftwood), and regular gypsum. I enjoy frames for their classic form, that perfectly reveal and enhance the wave’s elegance.

I enjoy playing on my own or being accompanied by my wife Margarita, who I sometimes convince to join me on stage as she can do percussion and play the keys. I'll carry on writing and making music as long as I'm around. Music is a part of me and it reminds me how wonderful life is.

Climbing mountains is one of the most beautiful things one can feel, but sharing it, is always the most unique experience.
