Last year we celebrated TWOTHIRDS’ tenth birthday! A decade of being the little blue brand by the sea. So it’s no surprise that we find ourselves looking back on this milestone to see what changed in 2020. 

The morning light streams into the street as wheels spin into motion and people move like water. Finding the path of least resistance. Spokes and gears are in conversation, click-clacking their teeth together. As the gradient grows, thighs burn like candles: warmly. We’re cycling again. 

At TWOTHIRDS we try to be as transparent as possible and after many discussions with you about our processes and our mission, we thought it was time to introduce the people behind the brand. 

Clara and Adrian are a couple that belongs to the sea. They can’t fathom living far away from water, so that’s why they decided to start a new life together in Barcelona; near the Mediterranean Sea.

This week we are celebrating our oceans and their protection. The last weeks and months have shown that the world seems to be finally waking up, or at least part of the world, realising that men made climate change is real. 

Our Friends from EcoMar are cleaning beaches since nineteen years and have so far cleaned 17,000 meters of coast line with the help of over 2 million children.We have joined forces with them this Black Week to make a difference together with you for a better future and cleaner beaches.

We love our team. And do you know what the beauty of it is? We love sharing our stories, our travel tips, but among everything, we love sharing our favorite eco-friendly restaurants.

You will be impressed by the thick and dark sand of this hidden beach and the crystal clear water. Platja Fonda managed to keep its primitive purity that you can rarely find in any other places of Costa Brava.

What is amazing about Barcelona, is that the atmosphere in the water is generally really good — little localism and friendly faces.
