“Born in Donosti in the Basque Country, I went on to study Journalism in Pamplona. I then moved to Madrid, but found the big city was not my thing – I needed the sea nearby. Returning to Donosti, I embraced surfing, fell in love, and decided to move to Australia, where I discovered my passion, photography. I relish capturing women in their element. Surfing is such a masculinised sport. Being able to shift that gender imbalance excites me. In my opinion, when I see girls riding waves, they do it with such a unique elegance. This feminine vision of surfing is what inspires me every day.”
