Carrer: Junior web developer

Are you passionate about sustainability and fashion? TWOTHIRDS is looking for a motivated junior web developer to join our team.

You will work with team members and external partners to plan and build new design features, pages and other content for our e-commerce Shopify store. You will be guided by our lead developer and will assist the maintenance and bug fixing of our company’s online content.

To ensure success as a junior web developer, you need to possess excellent website design skills, ability to learn quickly, and have a high-degree of attention to detail.

Required education, experience and skills:

- Excellence with HTML5 and CSS

- Using CSS preprocessors like Sass

- Experience with Shopify’s Liquid templating language

- Competence with JavaScript

- Basic Ruby Knowledge is a plus

- Solid understanding of why and how to separate content from style and behaviour in a web page

- Implementing responsive web designs with modern standards for HTML5 and CSS

- Knowledge of using SVG graphics in websites

- Use of web fonts

- Browser and performance testing/optimizing with tools like Chrome Developer Tools, Lighthouse, and Shopify performance reports

- Use version control systems like Git and develop as part of a team

- Command shell experience is a bonus

- Good communication and team player skills

- English language proficiency

- Ability to document and write instructions and basic documentations

- Motivation and ability to quickly learn new skills

- Attention to details

- A good aesthetic feel

We offer:

- 40h a week

- Schedule from 8:30-17:00ish From Monday to Friday

- Initially, the position is presencial, depending on the pandemic situation we might ask for home office
