Thank you for being part of Ocean Week.

Thanks to your support, we were able to contribute to Surfrider Spain and take action for cleaner oceans.
Only a few pieces remain from our limited edition tee.

Here are a few moments from our beach clean-up in Barcelona:

Seeing our community come together on the sand reminded us why these small choices matter. In just a few hours, we collected around 1,400 cigarette butts from the beach and surrounding areas.

Why does it matter?
A single cigarette butt 🚬 can contaminate up to 500 liters of water, releasing toxic substances and microplastics that harm marine ecosystems. That means our small group potentially prevented the contamination of 700,000 liters of water.

If you want to learn more, support Surfrider Spain, or join a future beach clean-up, you can do it here:

Small Actions that Help Protect the Ocean

Protecting the ocean doesn’t always start with huge gestures. Often, it begins with everyday choices and collective action.

Support Organizations Creating Local Impact

Ocean protection also depends on the people working consistently behind the scenes. That’s why this Ocean Week, we partnered with Surfrider Spain on a limited edition T-shirt created to celebrate and support their environmental initiatives.

Throughout the campaign, 2€ from every purchase will be donated directly to Surfrider Spain.

Join a Beach Waste Collection

Beach waste collections are one of the most direct ways to protect local ecosystems while also raising awareness in the community. They also help collect important data about the kinds of waste most commonly found on our shores.

On June 6, we came together in Barcelona for a collaborative waste collection with Surfrider Spain as part of the Colillatón campaign. The initiative focused on cigarette butt pollution, one of the most common forms of marine litter found on beaches. Though small in size, cigarette butts release toxic substances and microplastics into the environment, often going unnoticed.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make a positive impact on our coastline. Together, every small action contributes to healthier oceans.

Reduce Single-use Waste

Plastic pollution remains one of the biggest threats to marine ecosystems. Carrying a reusable bottle, refusing unnecessary packaging, or choosing long-lasting products over disposable ones can help reduce the waste that eventually reaches our coastlines.

Spend More Time Connected to Nature

Sometimes protection begins with connection. Spending time near the ocean, learning about local ecosystems, surfing, swimming, or simply paying closer attention to the coastline can change the way we relate to these spaces and the responsibility we feel toward them.

Take Action for Ocean Week

Ocean Week is an invitation to participate, learn, and take action together.

Every year, around 4.5 billion cigarette butts are discarded in the natural environment. Most end up on streets, in rivers and in the oceans, where they release over 7,000 toxic substances—including nicotine, heavy metals and tar—that harm wildlife, and break down into microplastics that persist in the environment

Since 2018, Surfrider has observed that cigarette butts are the most common item found during the thousands of waste collections.

This year we have decided to participate with them for our waste collection.
