At TWOTHIRDS, we think a sustainability report should be honest. That means sharing what’s gone well, but also where we still have work to do. Here’s what 2025 looked like.
B Corp Recertification: Why It Matters
2025 was the year we recertified as a B Corp, improving our score from 83.4 to 89.6.
There have been valid concerns about some companies using certification as a greenwashing tool. For us, it’s not about the badge but about having an independent framework that helps us improve across workers, governance, community, customers and the environment.
With B Lab introducing more demanding standards in 2026, we’re already preparing for what’s next. One of our long-term goals is to have our PRE-ORDER model formally recognised as an innovative way to reduce overproduction across the fashion industry.
PRE-ORDER and Local Production
Overproduction remains one of fashion’s biggest challenges. In 2025, our overproduction rate was 0% for the second year in a row.
That’s possible because of our PRE-ORDER model. We make products based on demand, not speculation, helping us avoid excess stock and unnecessary waste.
Our close network of suppliers in Portugal and Spain also makes this possible. We know every garment and fabric supplier we work with and almost all of our dyeing partners, giving us a level of transparency that’s still uncommon in the industry.
Our Carbon Footprint
In 2025, we reduced our company emissions by 15%.
While we’re happy with that progress, company operations represent just 3% of our overall footprint. The biggest impact comes from our products, which is why we’ll carry out our first product-level emissions and water impact study in 2026 through the EU-funded Fashion Forward project.
We’re also continuing our work with ClimatePartner and Plastic Bank, while committing to 100% renewable electricity across our offices in 2026.
Collaborations That Matter
We choose to work with people and organisations that share our commitment to the ocean and more responsible production.
In 2025, that included a collaboration with Indosole, ongoing support for Coral Guardian’s reef restoration projects, and our partnership with CRAM, helping protect marine wildlife in the Mediterranean.
Our Barcelona headquarters also became a place for the community, hosting events like the Women and the Wind documentary screening and Emma Hardy’s Borrowed Views exhibition.
What’s Next
There’s still plenty to do.
We’re continuing to push for greater recognition of PRE-ORDER as a model for reducing waste, carrying out our first product-level emissions and water impact study through the EU-funded Fashion Forward project, exploring future repair and resale initiatives, and working towards GOTS and GRS certification.
Sustainability isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about continuing to improve, being transparent about our progress, and holding ourselves accountable along the way.
