Wooden Film is Kike Martin, a film maker based in the sea. Born in the Mediterranean, I have always been surrounded by 3 elements: a camera, a surfboard and my guitar.
Inspired by my father I became interested in photography. A Minolta camera, some reels in b/w and a small enlarger was enough to reflect my vision of those moments, lights and textures.
My passion for surfing began on the Costa Dorada. Seeing some kids one summer going to the beach in a small fishing village caught my attention. Since that day I have never stopped thinking about surf, waves and the sea.
Music and guitars have always been present in my family. My father taught me how to play guitar from an early age and since today I haven't stopped playing a single day.
These triangulate my life: photography / video, surfing and music.
