I've always been an ocean lover. Spending time by the sea – capturing its beauty through my camera lens – re-energises me better than any throw-away product or consumer trend ever could. 

The fabrics I think best suit coastal settings are those that impact nature the least. For ethical garments, I choose organic cotton muslin, linen and TENCEL Lyocell. 

For bikinis and swimsuits, I insist they're crafted from recycled materials. After all, it’s the least I can do to keep these precious turquoise waters free of plastic.

Perhaps we’ll meet sometime when you next visit Portugal or the Costa Brava, places where the bonds between women and the ocean are as old as time.
