Materials

Linen Linen

Doesn’t know its own strength.

Nature’s toughest fabric, linen manages to soften with every wash while staying strong. Don’t believe us? The oldest dress in the world is made of linen!

Today we think it deserves more attention. Light and cool due to temperature regulation properties, linen is the unsung hero of summer. And brilliantly sustainable.

It starts out as flax, a plant that takes water from natural sources, grows with limited application of pesticides and is often used in its entirety - wasting nothing. Much kinder to the earth than cotton, and all the more luxurious.

Love life in linen.

Deadstock Deadstock

Brought back to life.

Dead stock means anything that is not sold or used after being ordered by a clothing brand. It’s the material that is surplus to requirement. Which can mean: landfill.

But it doesn’t have to. We buy the quality fabrics we want from brands that don’t need them. Lowering emissions and environmental impact, as new fabrics don’t need to be produced. This brings recycling into fashion.

By using a PRE-ORDER system we also prevent producing our own dead stock. And on the off-chance that we do have something left, it gets reused in the next season.

Our principle is simple: use what you have, before thinking of something new.
