Sustainable Skirts for Women

What are sustainable skirts?

Our promise to you is to make sure that any piece we create protects the ocean. That’s why all our sustainable skirts are made only with sustainable materials and produced in an ethical way.

What fabrics are TWOTHIRDS sustainable skirts made from?

Rest assured that all of our sustainable skirts are made from organic, recycled and botanic fabrics. The fabric we select for each item tends to depend on the style we’re creating, or the season the piece is designed for. Warm organic corduroy features on autumn and winter sustainable skirts, whereas more lightweight and breathable LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose is favoured for more summery pieces.

Are eco-friendly skirts just for warmer seasons?

Not at all! Any sustainable wardrobe should feature eco-friendly skirts that can be used year round. Many of our styles are ideal for doing just that. This is because many sustainable skirts pair as well with cosy knits as they do with one of our sustainable t-shirts, meaning they can form the basis of both summer and winter outfits. Just keep in mind that eco-friendly fabrics like organic corduroy and organic cotton will be warmer and denser than the likes of TENCEL™ Lyocell or linen.

What should I pair with fair trade skirts?

Our fair trade skirts can be paired with a surprisingly large array of other TWOTHIRDS pieces. This ranges from chunky high-neck knits, all the way through to sustainable shirts and tops. Our product pages and blog are always excellent places to find style tips and pointers, for those times when you find yourself devoid of inspiration. Our friendly customer service team is also on hand to help with any niggling doubts you might harbour when it comes to putting together your sustainable outfits with fair trade skirts.
